Determine Your Skin Type

What skin type do you have?

Normal skin

-no severe sensitivity

-barely visible pores

-supple and smooth feeling

-radiant complexion

-no oil or flaking
Normal skin types are the least problematic type. It has a healthy complexion and good circulation.

    Oily skin

    -Enlarged pores

    -Shiny thick complexion

    -pimples, blackheads, and other blemishes
Oiliness can change depending on factors such as puberty, stress, or exposure to heat. People with this type of skin should be careful about what skin products they use and how often they do it. If you have oily skin do not wash your face more than 2-3 times a day. Make sure you use a gentle cleanser and do not scrub! Scratching and squeezing pimples will only make your skin worse. Oily skin makes the healing process longer than usual. Be patient and treat your pimples instead of scratching them.

      Dry skin

      -Almost invisible pores (small pores)

      -Rough complexion

      -Red patches

      -Decreased elasticity

      -More visible lines

-Flakes of dead skin (not always)
Moisturizing is VERY important for this type of skin!

        Combination skin

        -Overly dilated pores

        -Blackheads

        -Shiny skin
A combination skin type means that some areas of the face can be dry or normal while others are oily. A common example of Combination skin is the T-zone, where the nose, forehead, and chin areas are oily and the rest of the face dry (or normal).

          Sensitive skin
            -Redness

            -Itching

            -Burning

            -Dryness

It is important to find out what products/ingredients trigger sensitive skin in order to avoid them. There are many different reasons that can be a reason for skin sensitivity.
